The environmental certification of farms comes from the Grenelle de l'environnement, the first texts of which were published in June 2011. This system responds to the need to recognize farms engaged in approaches that are particularly respectful of the environment. This approach is voluntary and covers four key themes:
-> Preservation of biodiversity
-> The phytosanitary strategy
-> Fertilization management
-> Water resources management
In order to engage the entire agricultural sector in a process of environmental progress, it is designed according to a logic of certification of the entire farm at several levels.
SOCOFRET, a certification body authorised by the Ministry of Agriculture since 2016, provides you with an effective certification method and qualified auditors to carry out the assessments corresponding to the different levels of Environmental Certification.
